So what eactly does Interactive mean?  I had asked this question too.   Interactive means that the entire story, an on going one is available for me to click, investigate and play out in a non- linear way on the web.  Its is a documentary, in this case of Canadian Olympic wrestling hopeful, Leah but all of the footage is available in …..rooms on the site.

All the footage….LETS GO HERE… It is indepth with over 2 hours of clips on the Internet in 2-3 minute spots.  According to the Directors Jo and Britt…. it s the most indepth study of one persons life on the internet to date.

So what can you expect:

Working as an independent writer and new filmmaker, I have noticed the importance of online video outlets grow significantly in recent years. While YouTube remains the most used and watched source online, filmmakers prefer to use Vimeo, often referred to as the professional YouTube.

Vimeo allows filmmakers to upload high definition projects for a reasonable yearly fee and also allows for minimal content to be uploaded for free.

Amazingly enough, my online addictions haven’t extended to YouTube, my fix comes directly from Facebook, Twitter and numerous email accounts where friends send links to videos they deem fit for my interests.

The site I spend most of my time watching videos on is TED.com, where I can justify the time spent as educational research and enlightenment. In fact, it has become part of my daily routine to watch at least one TED.com video and I encourage others to do the same.

Recently, I signed onto Netflix.ca, which has been brilliant for watching all types of film and TV, in particular, it has a fantastically diverse documentary film library. As someone who does not own a television set, I watch all my videos on my laptop, either in transit or at home.
