Wow!  I realized that I have been blogging consistently for years now.

I can hardly believe that I have over 1000 tweets out there.

I have collected over 400 favorite articles.

I can’t tell you how limitless the world feels when  -connection – is a click away.

I thought I would take a moment to share 15 research articles that have inspired me over the past year. I hope they also inspire you to pursue the social media platforms and strategy that give back to you.

My first pick is about a super meetup in Vancouver.  Third tuesday is about social networking attending over the years has helped me realize that sometimes the best way to find your own personal style is to – DE-CONSTRUCT one that inspires you.  Attending Third Tuesday also offers a great opportunity and reason to reach out to those that have done it before.  Start building your own personal support system.  Next are my second and third picks.  I hope to offer you some real value by sharing these favorite Social Media articles.

This post is a great resource for film production but it is also a great checklist for marketing unique businesses and unique people.

I love One Degree for it’s informative writers.  This article has a lot of out of the box thinking.  Reading articles where people move past what is expected helps me to look forward to see the challenges at a new angle.   Sometimes that new article is all I need to come up with a solution that will grab attention.

Yes another one of my articles, but in this case it showcases some of the simple visualization tools that are easy to learn and understand.  They offer creative ways to get your point out there.  Share it and do so easily so you can concentrate on more pressing matters.

Sometimes great ideas need a place where the genius of the package comes together.  These two sites are favorite examples of how social media and entertainment collide.

Forums can be hit and miss.  In most cases this is due to how closely your values and interests are aligned with the community that is on the forum.  I have found the above two sites as trusted resources for the specific questions that are important to me.

Creatives (like myself) love to invent, innovate and collaborate.  But there is a limit to how such factors can be included when success is measure.  I recognize that measuring success is necessary- especially for the big thinkers of the world.  Here are a few sites that have helped me focus so that I can inspire others beyond myself.

These articles inspired me.  I was struck as they both spoke about the future.   What the world needs is those outside of the box thinker who can create meaning.  It really inspires me that all of us can contribute by sharing our perspectives and taking the time to listen to the knowledge that is all around.
