Featured Creative Mind: Linda Ganzini of Undefined
Creator-Chief Tribe Leader/Apparel
This blog talks about the New Media, let’s go there?
Have you been following the trends in new media? Any predictions?
New Media is where it’s at in communicating to a large audience. My primary objective for Undefined is to create a global tribe of people all coming together to speak their truth, and share what Undefined means to them.
New Media has become as important as eating or breathing! Brands, new or old, need to engage in New Media like Facebook,Twitter and Youtube if they want to connect with their audience, build loyalty, and succeed in business. Gone are the days of print advertising/marketing… people want it now, live and personal.
Do you have a favorite Social network? Why is it your favorite?
Youtube is probably my favourite social network for it’s entertainment and educational value, and for the fact that it has launched many a career. There is nothing more exciting than having something you poured your heart into go viral! I recorded a song called ‘Vancouver City’ during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, and it was back dropped by a stunning time lapse video of our beautiful city. In just over one year, without any marketing, it grew to almost 2 million hits. That global exposure would not have been possible without social media. I would like to do the same for Undefined.
I will share two that touched me deeply. So powerful. The first was from a woman in Ottawa, Ontario, that purchased a few Undefined t-shirts.
(Jamie Hubley was the only openly gay teen in his Ottawa high school. He committed suicide over the bullying)
This second is a comment from a fan and his thoughts on Undefined.
“I like when I read something deep, clear and real. We are all surrounded by laws, and given paths to take to make us ‘better’, to secure our submission to the establishment. I love that someone can show me something without being attached to it. The spectrum of your Undefined brand is huge, but at the same time, it’s clear and basic. Freedom is our most precious asset. Thank you!”
