What’s your 1st memory of being a Designer/Singer?
My mother would say that I was born with a microphone in one hand, a pencil and paper in the other – A Barbara Streisand Picasso dreaming of Julliard! Like many little girls, growing up, l wanted to be a famous singer and movie star. Yes, I used to visualize accepting my Oscar over and over again…”You like me, you really like me!” haha In my spare time, which was most of the time, I would record myself singing on an old tape recorder and put on mini musicals for my family and friends – such a ham! I also spent countless hours sketching everything in sight, from stills to landscapes, to portraits, animals, clothing, you name it – I never left home without my sketch pad.
It was in high school that my artistic and musical talent blossomed and so became the obvious path to pursue. I’ve held that pencil and paper in hand every since and as for singing, my neighbours either love me or hate me!
In the next year, what one achievement would you be most proud of.
Do you love what you do? Why?
The process of giving birth to an idea, spun from a reflective moment between two friends, to a flicker of imagination to something tangible and real… is an amazing feeling. What Undefined represents, and how it is presented, is an extension of all that I am, my thumbprint is all over it. So yes, I love what I do – Undefined is a powerful word, and with that carries tremendous possibilities. I look forward to watching it unfold and transform into something unique and special.
As for singing, music rings in my soul. That passion will live and breathe with me forever.
